Multiplicity III - Spun and Woven
Friday's word of the moment, multiplicity, here in fibrous arrays as vibrant and colorful as I can make them, singing, dancing, chanting, cavorting, glamorous, riotous color. . . .
Gatherers, spinners and weavers are we. We spend our whole lives gathering up, sorting, carding, tinting, spinning and weaving, and like Life itself, the hues and patterns of our spinning and weaving on the Great Loom ebb and flow, much like the legendary tides of the Bay of Fundy's Minas Basin. There are times when we want our creations to be merely functional: quiet, subdued and firmly in the background. There are other times (like now in late Winter) when we long for the deep, rich and tangy hues of distant summers and faraway places, and nothing else will do.
