These wonderful leaves don't look like city! I am enjoying the benefits of progress sitting nest to a pond with hummers and goldfinches passing overhead indulging in writing on a laptop...
Endment, both photos were taken after a rain two days ago, and in the garden behind the little blue house. The first image is the leaves of the Lilies of the Valley (which are starting to bloom now), and the second is of my favourite bed of Russell lupins - both pictures are as cool and green as the woods in Lanark. (Sigh), sitting by the pond with hummers and finches and typing on one's laptop - I may have to get one after hearing that!
Wenda, thank you for those kind words - I seem to have a "thing" about leaves and natural patterns as so many seem to find their way onto my memory card and then here.
a dear friend is moving off thier family farm.....change can be wonderful but letting go so hard....today he shared with me Lilies of the Valley....and they are very dear to me...not only for his sharing but for the memories of my Grandmother who tended a huge circle of them benrath a great tree.....ahhh the sweetness...aisling
