Cate, I posted a photo of purple cone flower early this morning too, for my Wordless Wednesday post. *grin* There is a sweet little goldenrod spider "lying in wait" in the photo. Your photo is gorgeous. The colors and the light are as luminous as summer itself!
i'm new here and am wondering if there is a history behing wordless wenesday? it reminds me that we don't always have to use words to communcate.... and that some silence on a regular basis is a blessed thing..... i am loving your blog and finding that it has become a regular part of my day. thank you and namaste..... nance

Haven't visited for a week or so and all your flower and butterfly photos are absolutely wonderful. You are a master with the camera.
