Pablo. it's just the north shore of Dalhousie Lake, but the Arctic and Antarctic ice shelves were very much on my mind when I saw it... and the polar bears of course. They are having a rough time of it.
Cate, The photo is gorgeous. On land, we have lost most of our snow... except in the shadows of the woods and deep hollows. Our lakes are still covered with ice. I love how you found this beautiful segment of ice breaking free, with gracefully curving lines. There is beauty everywhere, if we only slow down long enough to see it. Thank you for sharing this beauty that you found with your artist's eyes.

Wow, you took that photo? You continue to amaze me. Yes, the poor polar bears. I worry about them.
