My friend Dr. Sue's fish pond, a smallish round pool with two waterfalls, lots of bamboo and pickerel weed and a lovely school of koi (Japanese carp) in season.
It's one of my many sanctuaries - in the hot dry days of July, there are dozens of placid frogs sitting on the stones, and the sound of the water is cooling and serene.
