Wind Horses and Blue Sky Mind

Lung-ta or wind horses so faded, tattered and weathered by the seasons that they are almost transparent, but their dancing aloft over the laneway makes me smile whenever I see them.

I look up at them waving there in the clear blue sky and feel contented, knowing I am home and just where I should be - the prayer flags and their streamers of blowing gossamer threads are both a greeting and a reminder of sorts. We are all at home in the world wherever we are, our feet rooted in the good dark earth and our wondering befuddled heads in the clear blue air.

There are wind horses here, dragonflies, trees, stones and flowers in season, but this place comes down to simple things really: balance, clarity, the light within, a sense of place and the longing for home. Foolish creature that I am, I am always forgetting that I am "already there".

Cate
Once again this early morning you speak to my heart.
You have reminded me "I am already there and I am where I am suppose to be"
What are wind horses?
I want one
Blessings to you this day.
