I'm called into this picture..I'm on my old horse who is prancy from the cold. He is as stirred into excitement as I am by the lure of that road, the next little rise..the next curve.. What will we see there?
Just imagine the work, the trees, the time, the preparation, the forethought, the skill that went into constructing this lovely stretch of functional art.

I love that kind of fence which we mostly see in Eastern Oregon in my part of the country. It's especially lovely with the snow.
In the top picture, the fence reminds me of vertebrae.

This looks like a road I like to ramble on even in the cold.
Beautiful, peaceful and cold looking. No snow in my area as of yet. I love the beauty but it makes me shiver.

love the photo of the bison below. saw my first herd of these in 2005!i was mesmerized watching them.
