Now Showing in the Summer Trees

Hallelujah, this is merely the first of many artistic undertakings by three spirited young girls in the neighborhood who have decided to beautify the village this summer by tucking their blithe creations into the trees in a nearby ribbon of meadowed park.

When Spencer and I wandered through the place a morning or two ago, there was a chorus of giggles from high in the old apple, and we were vastly tickled to see that she (the old tree that is) was proudly wearing, not one, but two happy works of art in her branches. We absolutely loved it.
There is talent here to be sure, initiative and a fine puckish creativity, perhaps a hint of old Asia and mythic journeying too.  We cupped our paws and called our compliments up to the budding artists in the leaves over our heads, and then we smiled all the way home, already looking forward to their next showing. How sweet it is.....

Love this idea.
Thought of tucking items
in my lush woods
but guess they are too thick.

How sweet is is indeed! This is so wonderful! I love to see this kind of creative expression in "children" - unafraid to create, to express and to exhibit their creations...

In our more "populated" neighborhood - ie: suburb - the only "creative" thing our youth put in the trees is our newspaper and toilet paper.

But THIS is inspiring! I bet the tree loves it too; being adorned with such fine creativity...

Cheered up my morning! :)
